Sarah Shoaib

Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC), Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

I’m Sarah Shoaib, a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a foundation in medicine and community mental health. My background as a physician shapes a holistic and integrative approach to therapy, where emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being are understood as deeply interconnected.

I support individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, crisis experiences, and significant life transitions. My approach is collaborative, structured, and nonjudgmental. Therapy with me is not simply about talking through problems; it is about understanding patterns, building emotional regulation skills, and creating sustainable change.

My clinical work integrates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am also certified in Brainspotting, a brain-based trauma processing approach that helps access and resolve deeply held emotional and somatic experiences, particularly when traditional talk therapy feels insufficient.

I have a particular interest in women’s mental health and support individuals and families navigating pregnancy, childbirth, early parenthood, and identity shifts. I also work with immigrants and first-generation individuals facing cultural transitions, intergenerational trauma, and adjustment-related stress. My work is culturally responsive and grounded in curiosity, respect, and clinical integrity.

I offer therapy in English, Hindi, and Urdu and am committed to increasing access to mental health care for linguistically and culturally diverse communities.

Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy baking, watching movies, and spending time with my daughters.

Nida Idrees

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

My name is Nida Idrees, and I am a culturally responsive and culturally informed therapist committed to creating a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and respected.

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, infertility and pregnancy loss, domestic violence, hoarding behaviors, and complex mood and personality concerns, including bipolar disorder and borderline personality patterns. Many of the people I support are also managing the stress of adjusting to a new country, balancing family and cultural expectations, or carrying responsibilities that feel overwhelming.

I deeply understand how culture, faith, identity, and family systems shape emotional experiences. These parts of you are not separate from therapy, they are welcomed, respected, and thoughtfully integrated into our work together.

My approach is grounded, compassionate, collaborative, and solution-focused. I integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness-based strategies, and person-centered approaches, tailoring therapy to your lived experience and pace. Whether we are working on emotional regulation, building structure and coping tools, processing trauma, or understanding patterns in relationships, our work will be thoughtful, practical, and steady.

I offer therapy in English, Urdu, Hindi, Gujarati Memoni, allowing clients to express themselves in the language that feels most natural and safe.

Therapy with me is not about judgment or labels. It is about creating a safe and consistent environment where you can explore what feels heavy, strengthen your emotional resilience, and move toward meaningful, sustainable change.

If you are looking for a therapist who approaches healing with warmth, cultural awareness, practical tools, and clarity of direction, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
